Lance is the senior vice president of, global strategy director at The Martin Agency (TMA), leading marketing strategy on major brands like Oreo, Trident, Ritz and UPS. Prior to joining TMA, Lance worked in Canada as the chief strategy officer at Stockholm-based Forsman & Bodenfors, and his career also includes stints at Leo Burnett, DDB, MullenLowe and Nebraska-based Bailey Lauerman. His work includes “Stay Playful” for Oreo, McDonald’s “All Day Breakfast” and Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking “Come Seek” campaign as well as innovative work for JetBlue, Merrill Lynch, LG, US Cellular and TD Ameritrade. Throughout his career his work has been recognized at nearly every major creative award show and has won several Effies, prestigious awards for marketing effectiveness. Lance believes the most-talked-about brands win in today’s referral economy, and relevance is the best measure for modern marketing success. Lance grew up in Nebraska and cites the endless skies for his abundant optimism.
